11.5.1, I had no issues with audio in OBS, I only upgrade to V. 11.6, and MacOS 10.15.6, before the upgrade to macOS 10.15.6 and when using BMD desktop setup V. I am backing up my Mac now to see if I can downgrade to at least 10.15.3 but I am having a hard time finding an install.dmg and not an update. Im using the latest version of OBS on an iMac 2019, with a BMD Ultrastudio Mini-Recorder using V. I am looking for some solutions or if someone had a similar issue.
That being said under the privacy tab in Security & Privacy all of those different softwares (Zoom, Google & ect) have permission to view my camera.
I feel like this is a permissions issue with the supplemental update that took place at the beginning of the week. I have my camera output set at 1080p/24, I have the Mini Recorder settings set to HDMI for the input source, and I have my streaming software (OBS. I purchased it along with an Apple MD861ZM/A Thunderbolt Cable - 2.0 M (NEWEST VERSION). This device allows us to put more of the encoding chain into software, giving us a choice of encoders and providers. Meaning the devices works because I am able to capture video from their software but none of the other software programs can view this "device/camera" like the week before. I am pretty new to live streaming, but the Ultra Studio Mini Recorder was recommended to be used with the Sony NEX-FS100 that I have. The Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder was an intriguing, low-cost solution for interfacing our HDMI camera with a MacBook Pro we already own. After installing the Catalina 10.15.4 supplemental update I am unable to view this "device" in any of my software besides the proprietary software that comes with this BlackMagic device.
